VERTICAL TROLLING GROUPER

Grouper is the first bait driver designed to use the octopus in the vertical trolling technique, unlike other leads used in fishing with maneuvered octopus its hydrodynamic shape, created and widely tested by the Vertical Trolling team, was designed to give the octopus great naturalness of movement not only in drift boat fishing but above all in trolling conditions with electric or auxiliary motor true focus of Vertical Trolling, in fact the hull shape does not allow the cephalopod to rotate but allows it to keep a regular trim allowing both roll and pitch to make the lure presentation more alive.

Its shape also allows it to be used in important weights such as 300gr with octopuses of reduced dimensions with the red color to increase the mimicry of the lead inside the octopus.

Of no less importance is the effect of its conformation on the stability of the trigger, in fact Grouper is wrapped around the head of the octopus and becomes an integral part of it and after a few minutes of use the skin of the octopus itself tends to tighten around the bait driver making the 'firm and impossible to extract trigger during the various ups and downs of the fishing trip.

The name Grouper carries within itself the main target of this bait driver: Grouper in all its forms. It has been used successfully during our tests in catching brown grouper, white grouper and canine grouper, however other species such as snapper and amberjack have not been missed.
