Vertical trolling is a new way of fishing.

It fills the gaps typical of both live trolling and vertical techniques, merging and instead amplifying their potential.

How many times trolling with live fish have you lost a prehistoric snapper because it cut the wire in the stones or a large grouper because it was burrowed? How did you solve? Speeding up? It doesn't always work, especially when towed with an electric motor.

How many times have you given up on a fishing trip because you didn't have live bait? What if you had some dead baits that if used in the right way would still work? How many days would you have saved?

Are we really sure that fish don't associate danger with lead? Or are we aware of the fact that by now the evolution of the species has led them to "discard" baits that have something in front of them that drives them? How many times with your underwater camera have you noticed this distrustful attitude towards a succulent live squid?

What if the squid suddenly snapped up? How would a predator react

when potential prey starts to flee? This gap of static is filled in vertical techniques but the baits are fake, even if very realistic, and sometimes they are not even considered.

In fact you have often seen predators following the bait on the echo without attacking. Who knows with a natural bait instead of your jig or rubber what would have happened.

If we had the possibility to tow a natural bait without a guardian, making it go up and down "jigging it", how do you think a predator would react? It is a totally new situation for him that approaches reality much more than a live squid that remains stationary when the predator approaches because it is tied to the keeper.
